In building our team we have taken the Richard Branson approach to business. Every member of our team has the experience and the knowledge to run their own data centre, we’ve just made it so good here, that they don’t want to.
In growing this team we have insisted that every new member adds something fresh to the mix. In this way our skill set is constantly growing. But we’re not happy to leave it at that. We also believe in considerable investment in training – in the world we work in, we have to know that we’re always ahead of everyone else so that we can see what’s lies ahead.
While technical ability is paramount, to ensure everyone’s always happy to solve issues for clients, these excellent technical skills need to be coupled with strong motivation. As a result we only hire those people who exhibit passion and commitment. After all, it is ultimately these people that keep our clients coming back for more.
Some of our most faithful clients are those who have had a problem. This may seem strange, but it’s in this hour of need that experience counts. And it’s then, when these clients see their problem solved quickly and efficiently, that they appreciate the value of their team at flipside data and the support we offer.
